Marissa began playing piano at a very young age and completed The Royal Conservatory of Music Level 9 (practical and theory) at age 13. She has played at numerous recitals in different parts of the world and has previously been hired to perform at the University of British Columbia Alumni Centre. Her current musical interest is in combining improvised piano melodies with ambient sounds of the sea.
